Young Crow Tom Doedee has taken out his third award for the night after being recognized by his peers with the Players’ Trademark Award.

The athletic defender was first rewarded for his breakout year with the Emerging Talent award before receiving the Dr Brian Sando award for his meticulous preparation for AFL football.

His commitment in his first AFL season did not go unnoticed by his teammates who felt Doedee most embodied the team’s values in 2018.

A rising star contender, the 21-year-old impressed his peers with his consistency across his 19 games played as he averaged 18 disposals per game with a disposal efficiency of over 81 per cent.

Midfielder Brad Crouch was the inaugural winner of the Players’ Trademark Award after it was rebranded from the Chelsea Phillis Coaches Award last year.

Doedee joins a long list of Crows legends who have won the amalgamated award, including three-time winners Mark Bickley, Robert Shirley and Rory Sloane.

Current players Richard Douglas, Andy Otten and Eddie Betts are also past recipients.
