Emerging Carlton forward Charlie Curnow and defender Caleb Marchbank have been ruled out of Saturday night’s clash with Adelaide.
The pair suffered minor ankle sprains at training during the week.
“While unavoidable, these injuries are disappointing for Charlie, Caleb and the Club as we prepare for our clash against Adelaide on Saturday night,” Blues Head of Football, Andrew McKay, said.
“Clearly it’s less than ideal to have a number of our players out injured at the moment.”
The Blues remain hopeful of regaining ruckman Matthew Kreuzer and key defender Jacob Weitering from injury.
