On Tuesday, approximately 400 Junior Members enjoyed the festivities of the Junior Members Open Training Event.

The event gave Crows Junior Members an opportunity to watch the players train before their encounter with Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

There were a variety of different activities for the kids, including a bouncy castle and face painters. Junior Members also had the chance to practice kicking for goal using the giant inflatable field or to tackle one of the big tackle bags.

Claude the Crow was popular with all the kids and featured in a lot of photos throughout the morning. You could also have your photo taken with the AFL Premiership Cups.

The Crows Supporters Group helped out by cooking the delicious sausage sizzle, which was loved by the crowd as well as staff.

After the players had finished their training session, they found themselves swarmed by kids wanting autographs or photos. Kurt Tippett, Rory Sloane, Patrick Dangerfield, Bernie Vince and skipper Nathan van Berlo were the most popular, with a constant sea of kids at their feet.

Fun was had by all of the kids and they left with many autographs and big grins.

The open training is just one of the events the Club’s junior members are invited to each season.
