Veteran Crows pair Richard Douglas and Andy Otten have called time at West Lakes after a combined 26 years with the Adelaide Football Club.
Fans have flooded the Crows social media account with well wishes and praise for two of Adelaide’s longest-standing players.
Otten, who announced he was leaving the Club on Tuesday, was inundated by messages

Gayle Wright - Facebook
“Love my Dougie. Thanks for the memories, for being a great team member, a great player & my favourite. All the best Dougie for the future.”
Kerry Henderson - Instagram
“I always thought you would become a captain at some point. You’re a hard nut! I remember one of your early games (I reckon in your first year), our team wasn’t playing well and we were looking a bit sorry for ourselves. You came off the bench, showed determination and fired the boys up, remember the commentator saying you’re a true leader at such a young age. Sad to see you retire, all the best, thanks for everything.”
Susie Braunack - Instagram
“Thanks for being such a great player Dougy. Absolute champion and team player!”
Matt Coleman - Instagram
“So sad that Dougy is hanging up the boots!

Not to mention, Otten himself with a simple “praise” emoji.
Last but certainly not least, a love heart emoji from his wife, Allesandra Douglas.
