Crows co-captain Rory Sloane says he enjoys lining up against players like Nat Fyfe because they are “a really good test”.
Speaking on Triple M’s The Rush Hour with Jars & Louie, Sloane said Adelaide was busy preparing for Fremantle’s “classy midfield”.
“They’ve been playing some really good footy,” Sloane said.
“They’ve controlled games quite well and their ball use has been sharp.
“They win a lot of the contests (and) if you do that, you have a much better chance of scoring.”
Sloane praised the midfield prowess of Fremantle and said he was particularly wary of Fyfe, David Mundy and Bradley Hill.
“I don’t know if you’ve watched Hill before, but he runs all day,” Sloane said.
“Fyfe is a really good player and he’s always a good test.”
Adelaide stayed alive in the first quarter against St Kilda thanks to its accurate goal-kicking, despite the Club’s season average accuracy rate sitting at 45 per cent.

Sloane said different players spend different amounts of time honing their craft, but that it was usually around three times a week the team would focus on set shots.
“Personally, every session when we’re out on the track, I’ll spend around 10 minutes having shots on goal,” he said.
“Some people spend more time, defenders obviously spend less. We do practice when we’re fatigued as well.
“A lot of it comes down to the individual and how much they want to get out of it.”
An avid fan of Lego, Sloane also spoke about his favourite new television show: Lego Masters.
“It’s a great show, I love my Lego,” he said.
“I’ve got a few things, like a Kombi van that is really detailed and a VW Beetle.
“I’m as immature as they get when it comes to Lego.”
Victorian-born Sloane also brought up the age-old debate surrounding the pronunciation of the word “Lego”.
