Half way through the season, it’s time to look back at the Club’s most significant moments of 2019.

From player milestones to Showdown medals, it’s been an action packed 13 rounds for Adelaide.

Keep in mind the focus is significant moments - not best - so there will be an unfortunate one in the mix.

We’ll be unveiling our picks over three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

After releasing picks eight, nine and 10 yesterday, here’s four, five, six and seven.

7. Doedee’s injury

Unfortunately not every significant moment is a positive one… queue Tom Doedee’s ACL rupture in Round One.

Coming off a breakout year, Doedee had put in the hard yards in a full pre-season after missing the end of 2018 with a shoulder problem.

But one moment against Hawthorn brought it all crashing down and Doedee was ruled out for the season.

One silver-lining, Doedee has been able to spend time helping the young defenders in the SANFL from a sideline coaching position.

6. O’Brien’s time to shine

Reilly O’Brien had to wait patiently for three years before getting a decent run in the Crows’ AFL side.

When Sam Jacobs suffered a knee injury in Round Two against Sydney, O’Brien’s moment finally arrived… and he snatched it with both hands.

Against Richmond on Thursday, O’Brien registered a career-high 54 hit-outs (22 to advantage) and finished first in Champion Data points for Round 13.

5. Brad Crouch’s return

It must have been hard for Brad Crouch to watch the entirety of the 2018 from the sidelines.

Given his immense talent, no one would have wanted to help the struggling Crows as much as Brad.

Now fully fit and back in the team, Crouch is showing everyone what Adelaide was missing last season.

Against the Tigers, he grabbed a career-high 43 disposals and ultimately earned his fourth Team of the Week selection for 2019.

4. Tex’s 400th goal

Crows co-captain Taylor Walker sits comfortably in second place on Adelaide’s all-time goal scoring list - well ahead of Mark Ricciuto (292 goals) in third.

Against the Demons in Round 11, Walker grabbed his 400th goal for the Club.

It was a typical Tex goal, a big 55m kick that slotted straight through the middle.

Walker is now on 405 goals and needs just 36 to overtake Adelaide’s all-time goals leader - Tony Modra (440).
