Crows co-captain Rory Sloane has revealed he may turn his attention to politics once his football career comes to an end.

Speaking on Triple M’s The Rush Hour, Sloane was put on the spot and asked who he’d be voting for in the Federal Election this Saturday.

“Very personal question,” Sloane replied, moving past the question.

“I did tell Belinda the other day I think I’d be quite a good PM at some stage.

“It might be something I look forward to late in my career to try and transition and sort out the mess that’s there at the moment.”

Sloane also discussed missing out on Hugh Greenwood’s starting five Crows side, ahead of the NBA Finals.

“It’s about time he showed us he has half decent hops,” Sloane said of Greenwood’s big mark on the weekend.

“He’s taken a few half hangers, but that one on the weekend was a full hanger.

“But he just forgot he was playing football, there was a bit of basketball about that shot at goal.

“I’ve got a ring out the back, I’m quite good on my home court but that’s about it.”

Adelaide face Brisbane at The Gabba on Saturday afternoon and Sloane says he is expecting a tight contest.

“I really like the way they’re playing,” he said.

“Exciting footy, really hard footy and a lot of pressure as well.

“From St Kilda up to this game, we’ve certainly had some sides that bring the heat and Brisbane are no exception.”

Saturday’s match will be shown live nationwide on Fox Footy 3 from 1.40pm ACST. A delayed telecast will be available on 7mate from 4.30pm in South Australia.
