Crows forward Eddie Betts has earned his second Goal of the Year nomination for 2019.

In the final quarter of Adelaide’s clash with Fremantle on Sunday, Betts kicked a goal from deep in the pocket to help guide his side to a 17-point win.

A long kick into the 50 spilled from a pack and into the hands of Betts, who spun and quickly snapped truly for Adelaide’s sixth goal of the day.

Betts earned his first nomination of the year in Round Five during the veteran forward’s 300th game.

He garnered 82.5 per cent of the votes to comfortably defeat Gary Ablett (Geelong) and Brandon Matera (Fremantle).

The 32-year-old has won Goal of the Year three times, once with Carlton in 2006 and twice with Adelaide in 2015 and 2016.
