Two days after receiving the Showdown Medal in his 20th AFL game, Alex Keath has picked up a perfect 10 in the AFL Coaches Votes for Round Eight.
He was one of five Crows who polled in the 20-point win over Port Adelaide, with the defensive efforts of Keath and Rory Laird (six votes) recognised by both coaches.
The duo finished with 12 intercept possessions a piece, holding the Power’s forward line to three goals in the first three quarters.
There was a career-high return for Keath in disposals, 26, contested possessions, 14, and rebound-50s, seven, and he leads the AFL in intercept possessions with 66.
Laird, meanwhile, was the perfect pivot from defence to attack with six rebound-50s and eight inside-50s.
Tom Lynch (eight votes) was recognised by both coaches as the second most influential player of the game, asserting his dominance with three goals and two goal assists.

Co-captain Rory Sloane (four votes) now leads the AFL with 59 tackles following the his 13-tackle outing.
He booted a goal and kept the pressure on Port Adelaide with nine inside-50s, his season-best return, and 13 contested possessions.
Key defender Daniel Talia (one) rounded out the votes for Adelaide after denying the Power numerous opportunities up front.
He had 10 spoils (eight effective) and claimed five marks.
Port Adelaide’s Dan Houston (one vote) was their only player to receive votes from Don Pyke or Power coach Ken Hinkley, despite Tom Rockliff’s 41 disposals and six tackles.
Remarkably, Pyke and Hinkley named in the exact same top four players in the same order.
Each round, coaches vote for five players with a mark from 1-5, with five the highest.
A maximum of 10 votes can be received in a game.
The player with the most votes at the end of the season becomes the Shadforth AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
