Adelaide has passed on its selection at the AFL mid-season rookie draft on Monday night.
The Crows were on the clock at pick No.12 but chose not to use the selection, becoming the second club to pass after Hawthorn passed on pick No.10.
"Hamish (Ogilvie) and the team have invested significant time and energy looking at every possible scenario," General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said.
"As it played out, there were no players available at pick 12 who suited our current list needs."
Carlton selected Subiaco's Josh Deluca with the No.1 pick.
