Four Crows have received coaches’ votes from Saturday afternoon’s 10-point win over West Coast with captain Taylor Walker and ruckman Sam Jacobs leading the way.
Walker polled nine votes from Adelaide coach Don Pyke and Eagles counterpart Adam Simpson after spearheading the Crows’ fourth-quarter comeback with three goals, 22 touches
After booting his first goal at the 29-minute mark of the third quarter, Walker helped inspire a run of six unanswered goals that saw the Crows pull off a stirring comeback win.
Ruckman Sam Jacobs also received nine votes after winning the ruck battle against Nic Naitanui with 39 hit-outs, 18 disposals, and a goal.
Rory Laird (three votes) and Matt Crouch (two votes) rounded out the voting for Adelaide, with Laird collecting plenty of the footy in his return from injury with 32 disposals.
Laird moves to equal 14th overall on the overall leaderboard with 37 votes, 23 behind Carlton’s Patrick Cripps.
Ball magnet Crouch was outstanding with 20 contested possessions amongst his haul of 32 touches and nine tackles.
