Adelaide coach Don Pyke described Paul Seedsman as a “shining light” for Adelaide on Friday night after the winger rediscovered his strong form of 2018 against the Cats.
The 27-year-old was responsible for several key highlights, including this bomb from 60 metres out:

In the third quarter, he followed up with an impressive goal on the run, with support from his co-captain Taylor Walker.

Adding to that, Seedsman recorded 28 disposals, six marks and six inside 50s.
Pyke said Seedsman was slow to get going since his return from injury in Round 10, but has found his way in recent weeks.
“He was back to carrying the ball and running with the ball, which is one of his great strengths and we saw that a number of times,” Pyke said.
“He’s been back in the team for five weeks, he was slow to get going by his own admission, but his last couple of weeks have been back to his form of last season, which was outstanding.
“It was good to see him doing that.”
Teammate Hugh Greenwood echoed his coach’s praise for Seedsman.
“We say his weapon is his ability to take the game on and use his legs and his kick,” Greenwood said.
“He had a couple of rippers, so we love that from him - we probably need a little bit more of that from everyone.”
