Crows defender Nick Murray is poised to return from a knee injury to take on the Giants this weekend, providing he gets through training on Wednesday.

Murray has missed the past two games with a knee strain but is well placed to return for the Easter Saturday clash at Adelaide Oval.

“Nick has completed everything that we’ve asked, and he will be available to play this weekend assuming he gets through training tomorrow,” High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“He’s chomping at the bit as you can imagine, he’s only missed two games and been able to do plenty of running and training so it’s exciting to have him back.”

Forward Josh Rachele is also set to take a step forward in his recovery from broken ribs when he integrates back into training.

“Josh has completed a ton of running which is great and he will be integrated into training this week, then we will look to see how he progresses through over the next week or so,” Burgess said.

“But he’s done everything we’ve asked and completed plenty of kilometres so he’s looking forward to getting involved again.”

Key forward/ruck Toby Murray is at home recovering from ankle surgery and is expected to miss three-four months.

“Toby had some screws inserted into that ankle of his, he will have a reasonable time off legs and we’ll look to bring him back into training in about three months,” Burgess said.
