Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper has provided the following post-season injury update.
Midfielder Abbie Ballard will undergo a knee arthroscope and resume running in the new year.
“We expect Abbie to be off legs for about four weeks until mid-January and then she will resume running after that,” Harper said.
“She had a bit of knee soreness which she was able to play through but now is a good opportunity to get on top of it.
“We expect Abbie to be fully fit and ready to go for the start of pre-season training.”
Forward Eloise Jones has transitioned out of her moon boot and continues to work towards a return to running.
“EJ is progressing really well in her recovery from her Achilles injury and will continue to keep building over the next couple of months,” Harper said.
“She should be running and starting to reintegrate into training when we start pre-season in May.”
