Five Adelaide players have been included in the 2024 AFLW All-Australian squad.

Co-captain Ebony Marinoff, forward duo Danielle Ponter and Caitlin Gould, defender Chelsea Biddell and former captain Chelsea Randall have all been named in the extended squad of 42.

Marinoff has enjoyed a stellar first campaign as Co-Captain, averaging 30.4 disposals, 13.5 tackles and 6.4 clearances per game - while winning the 2024 AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year award.

The 26-year-old is chasing her seventh selection in the All-Australian team, and has featured in the side in each of the past four seasons.

Gould, meanwhile, leads the competition in both score involvements (64) and marks inside-50 (34), and has made her presence felt on the scoreboard, booting an equal career-high 19 majors.

Ponter will be eyeing back-to-back All-Australian selections after kicking 15 goals and averaging 11.4 disposals in a dual forward/midfield role.

Biddell has led from the front in the Crows’ back six, averaging 13.4 disposals and 2.2 intercept marks, while assisting in the development of young defenders Zoe Prowse, Brooke Tonon and Sarah Goodwin.

Randall rounds out the Crows’ squad members after averaging 15.7 disposals, 4.6 tackles and 3.9 marks as an impactful utility.

The former skipper will be eyeing her fifth All-Australian blazer to add to a career resume that includes three Premierships, three AFLW Players’ Most Courageous awards and a Showdown Medal.

The final team will be announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 25.
