Adelaide has made one change for its Week Eight clash against Collingwood at Victoria Park on Sunday.

The Crows have brought in Irish speedstar Amy Boyle Carr, as they look to claim their seventh win for the season.

Wing Deni Varnhagen is being managed and will miss the Week Eight game.

“Deni has had a fairly heavy workload, so we’ve left her out this week,” Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said.

“Amy comes in and she can play a similar role to Deni.

“She’s got some great speed and she’ll be fresh coming in and after the team has played four games in 14 days, it’s always good to bring a fresh player in.”

Varnhagen joins first-year player Lily Tarlinton and midfielder Abbie Ballard as the emergencies.

The game will mark the first time the two sides have faced off against each other since Round Four, Season Seven (2022).

Adelaide takes on Collingwood at Victoria Park, Melbourne, on Sunday at 4.35pm (ACDT).

The game will be broadcast live on 7mate Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo from 4.30pm.
