Adelaide ruckman Kieran Strachan has been recognised for his outstanding State League campaign with a selection in the 2024 SANFL Team of the Year.
It marks the fourth consecutive year Strachan has been named in the side, having been selected in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Strachan recorded 524 hit-outs this season, averaging 32 across 16 games.
The two-time Adelaide SANFL Best and Fairest averaged 15.9 disposals and four clearances per game, while also finishing the season with a total of six goals.
The SANFL announced the 2024 Team of the Year on Thursday afternoon.
It was selected by SANFL’s Sean Toohey, Daniel Joyce and Zac Milbank, The Advertiser’s Andrew Capel, Football Budget editor Peter Cornwall and Channel 7’s John Casey.
