Crows tall Elliott Himmelberg is expected to be available for selection this week after he was a late withdrawal from the AFL emergency list on the weekend.

“We took a no risk approach with Elliott; he was in the emergencies and due to travel with us, but he’s been experiencing some hamstring awareness so we went with a no risk approach,” High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“Elliott will be restricted a little bit in training early this week, but he will be fine later in the week and available this weekend.”

Patrick Parnell is progressing well in his recovery from a shoulder injury and has resumed training with his teammates.

“Paddy is fully training at the moment, we are just restricting his contact a little but he’s doing really well,” Burgess said.

“He’s done everything we could have asked, it’s just unfortunate timing for Paddy that he’ll miss the last three games but he’s training really well and bringing a lot of enthusiasm.”

In further good news, Wayne Milera is expected to tick off a big milestone in his recovery from a knee injury later next week.

“It’s been a long road for Wayne, but we expect him to start running late next week so that’s really exciting for him,” Burgess said.

“He’s been out for a while, so it’s really exciting news for Junior and the rest of us, it will be good to see him out there on the track running.”

Injury List as of Tuesday, August 6:
