Adelaide has secured two highly skilful players for the next two years with Lachlan Sholl and Brayden Cook both signing contract extensions to the end of 2026.
Sholl is in career-best form averaging 20 disposals and just under a goal a game this year, while Cook has kicked 12 goals from 13 games to double his career tally in 2024.
Crows GM List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said it was exciting to have both players recommit to the Club.
“Not many work harder on their game behind the scenes than Sholly and it’s great to see him continuing to develop and be rewarded with consistent high-level form this season,” Reid said.
“His two-way running to help in defence while also working forward and presenting a threat in front of goal makes him a really valuable part of our team.
“And Brayden has also had to put his head down and go to work in his first few years on the list and we are now seeing the result of that patience and dedication.
“Both players are smart and skilful and we are excited about their ongoing growth and the positive impact that they can have on our future success.”
Sholl, 24, said it was an easy decision to re-sign after playing 68 games in the past five seasons.
“It’s a great environment and place to come to work every day and the group we have is building together,” he said.
“The Club has been so good at making me feel welcome and at home so I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”
Cook, 21, said he was equally excited to be building on the start to his career at West Lakes.
“I grew up barracking for the Crows so I’m stoked to be staying on for another two years,” Cook said.
“I love the playing group and I’ve had a lot of support from the coaching and high performance staff over the past few years and still feel like there’s a lot of improvement to come.”
