The Crows have dropped Bernie Vince, who made his AFL debut in the opening round, while Kris Massie, Michael Doughty, Hayden Skipworth and Scott Stevens have all been named on an extended interchange bench.
Graham Johncock, Matthew Clarke and Robert Shirley, who all played last week, are also on the seven-man bench that will be trimmed back to four on Friday.
The match will be a special occasion for the Crows with Adelaide stalwart Ben Hart set to make his 300th appearance in the tri-colours.
The Eagles have suffered a blow ahead of their clash with Adelaide with Ashley Hansen (hamstring) and Daniel Chick (calf) both ruled out through injury.
Both are expected to miss just the one week with minor strains and their replacements will come from the group of Travis Gaspar, Matt Rosa, Damien Adkins, Brett Jones and Matthew Priddis who were all added to the extended squad.
The rookie-listed Priddis will be in the mix to make his AFL debut with the club lodging paperwork with the AFL to elevate the 21-year-old midfielder to the senior list after forward Brad Smith (ruptured ACL) was moved to the long-term injury list.
Gaspar, who survived a tribunal scare to play in last year's Grand Final side, is the only one of the inclusions to go directly into the starting 18 having been named at centre half-forward.
