Adelaide has made two changes for its match against Essendon at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
The Crows have named defender James Borlase and midfielder Lachlan Sholl in the side.
The pair replace backman Jordon Butts, who will miss the game due to a hamstring injury, and Matt Crouch (suspended).
Adelaide Senior Coach Matthew Nicks confirmed to the media earlier on Thursday there would be two changes to the team that beat the Blues last weekend.
“We’ll make a couple of changes, with Matty going out and Buttsy, who’s going to miss a week, maybe two, not 100 per cent sure how long he’ll miss,” Nicks said.
“That gives a chance for Borlase, Borlase will play.
“It’s a like-for-like and he’s been in pretty good form.”
Sholl forms a five-player interchange bench which includes Will Hamill, Lachlan Gollant, Sam Berry, and Ned McHenry.
One of the five will be named as Adelaide’s substitute, one hour before the game.
The Crows will be hoping to notch their second win of the season when they host the Bombers, following on from a thrilling two-point win in Round Five.
Nicks said the side’s challenge was to now continue that momentum and solid form.
“We knew we weren’t far away, we’ve shown some very good signs this year,” Nicks said.
“We feel right now, even though it’s one win, we have some momentum, we’ve been able to work back to our system, work back to our process about what it takes to get the job done.
“There’s such a fine line between sitting in that changeroom really disappointed and sitting in that changeroom ecstatic about what happened.
“We are mindful of that… but we are confident this week we are going to bring our A game and we are up against a side that should be the same.”
Forwards Elliott Himmelberg, Luke Pedlar and midfielder Billy Dowling are the emergencies.
Adelaide will face Essendon at Adelaide Oval on Friday at 7.10pm.
