Adelaide’s off-season signing spree has continued with reigning Club Champion Ebony Marinoff committing to a four-year contract extension to at least 2027.

Marinoff capped an incredible 2023 season by earning All-Australian selection for the sixth time before winning her second Crows Club Champion.

The 26-year-old will now continue her dominant midfield partnership with Anne Hatchard, who signed a four-year contract extension on Monday.

Since arriving at West Lakes in 2017, Marinoff has never missed a game, is Adelaide’s games record holder with 79 and a member of the Club’s leadership group.

“There’s no place I’d rather be, I don’t see myself anywhere else and I want to be a one club player,” Marinoff said.

“The young talent that we have coming through is so exciting, I’ve been part of the Club for a long time now and in the first few years Sez (Sarah Allan), Hatch (Anne Hatchard) and I were the young ones but now we get to lead this group which is amazing.

“It’s an exciting time to be at the Club, both the men’s and women’s lists are so young and talented, and I would love nothing more than to see both programs achieving that ultimate success in the near future.”

Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said the Club was delighted to secure Marinoff’s long-term signature.

“Ebony is a very talented player who we value enormously, evident in her winning the Club’s best-and-fairest, Players’ Player and Members’ MVP awards this season,” Harper said.

“She is one of the best midfielders in the competition and works extremely hard to improve herself and her teammates.

“Ebony is an important leader amongst the group and is invested in the ongoing success of our team.”
