Adelaide could receive a timely boost ahead of its clash with third-placed North Melbourne on Sunday.
Vice-Captain Sarah Allan, who has not played a game this season, could be set for a return from a hamstring injury.
Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Allan would complete a full training load this week.
“Sarah did a big block of training last week and we expect her to do the same this week,” Harper said.
“She has hit all her markers and is going really well.
“Given she gets through the week without any issues, she should be available for selection this Sunday.”
Yvonne Bonner, who has missed the past two games due to a medial ligament strain, is also nearing a return.
“Yvonne is continuing to increase her training load and has started doing more change of direction activities ,” Harper said.
“She is tracking well, but may need another week before she returns.”
Abbie Ballard successfully underwent surgery on her ACL on Friday.
“Abbie had surgery on Friday which went well,” Harper said.
“She’s in good spirits and will head back home to her family farm to recover before starting her rehab process in the next couple of weeks."
