West Coast’s Jeremy McGovern will make an immediate return to the Eagles’ line-up to confront Adelaide at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
McGovern has overcome a virus which sidelined the versatile defender in last week’s loss to the Western Bulldogs and will strengthen the home side’s defence in Saturday’s clash with the high-scoring Crows.
McGovern replaces young backman Tom Cole, who was omitted, and is the only change after the club’s eight-point loss to the Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Brothers Jeremy and Mitch McGovern will go head-to-head for the first time on Sunday afternoon in an intriguing sub-plot to the clash at Domain Stadium.
Former Hawk Xavier Ellis, Ex-Swan Lewis Jetta and Tom Barrass are the Eagles’ emergencies.
Eagles midfielder Chris Masten will play his 150th AFL game.
