Brodie Martin and Brodie Smith have resumed full training and will be available for Adelaide’s opening round of NAB Cup matches against Carlton and Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

Martin (hamstring) and Smith (calf) both sat out last Wednesday's intra-club trial  because of minor injuries, but were given the all-clear by the Crows' medical staff on Monday.

Jason Porplyzia (corked calf) and Lewis Johnston (corked thigh) are expected to join in main training later this week.

Forward Chris Knights has started running on his injured hamstring, but won’t start full training for another week and will join full-back Ben Rutten on the sidelines on Sunday.

Rutten is making good progress in his recovery from plantar fascia surgery.

The 28-year-old started cross-training last week and is aiming to be fit for Adelaide’s season opener against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on March 31.

The Crows next open training session will be on Tuesday from about 9:45am on Max Basheer Reserve.

The Club will also have a light run at Max Basheer Reserve on Saturday at 10:30am.
