Defender Andrew McPherson will make his return from a quad injury in Adelaide’s Round 17 clash against Sturt at Unley Oval.
McPherson last played in the Crows’ Round Six match against the Double Blues, and will provide a welcome boost to the defensive stocks.
He is one of seven inclusions to the SANFL squad for Saturday’s game, which includes debutant Jarman Sigal.
Joining Adelaide’s SANFL development squad at the start of the season, Sigal has been a standout at amateur level for Brighton, having claimed the Club’s 2022 Best and Fairest and earning a spot in the Division One Adelaide Footy League Team of the Year.
Fellow SANFL-listed talents Isaya McKenzie, Hugh Haysman, Josh Smithson, Stephen Tahana and Mitch Johnson round out the inclusions.
The Crows will lose five AFL-listed players from its Round 16 win over West Adelaide.
Elliott Himmelberg has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury, Will Hamill and Kieran Strachan have been managed, while Lachlan Gollant and Brayden Cook are emergencies for the AFL side.
Skipper Matthew Wright and marquee player Jack Madgen have also been managed.
Adelaide comes into this clash on the back of five straight wins, and can climb up to second spot on the ladder with a victory over the Double Blues.
The Crows take on Sturt at Unley Oval this Saturday, with the first bounce at 2.10pm.
