Adelaide forward Taylor Walker has received a Round 20 Goal of the Year nomination to cap off a dominant performance in Showdown 54.

The 33-year-old received the nomination for his effort mid-way through the third term, where he stepped around Power defender Aliir Aliir and converted from 50 metres out on his non-preferred foot.

Walker finished the night with a seven-goal haul, earning him his first Showdown medal

He currently sits second in the Coleman Medal standings on 61 goals, six behind Carlton spearhead Charlie Curnow.
