Adelaide’s baby boom is in full swing, with Rory and Belinda Sloane announcing they are expecting their first child later this year.
The pair delivered the big news via Instagram on Monday night.
It comes days after Eddie Betts and wife Anna welcomed twin girls, Maggie and Alice, into the world in dramatic fashion. Last month, David and Sarah Mackay had their second child, daughter Lucy.
The Sloanes join a growing list of expecting couples at West Lakes.
Sam and Izzy Jacobs, Andy and Emmalyn Otten, Tom Lynch and fiancé Courtney and Josh Jenkins and fiancé Hannah have all shared their pregnancy news.
Speaking on Adelaide radio, Betts said abundance of babies had become a talking point at the Club.
“All the young boys today are like, ‘We aren’t ready for babies yet. Stay home girls because if you go down there (to the Club) you are going to get pregnant just breathing up the air’,” Betts said with a laugh.
“But (seriously) it’s good. It’s great that all those boys and their partners are having babies.”
