Adelaide forward Mitch McGovern has been cleared to face Sydney at the SCG on Friday night, but All Australian goalsneak Eddie Betts and midfielder David Mackay remain in doubt.
McGovern took a knock to his jaw in the Crows' 48-point loss to Collingwood at Adelaide Oval last Friday night.
Betts didn't finish the game with hamstring tightness and the Crows are likely to take a no-risk approach with the 31-year-old, while Mackay was concussed for the second time in three weeks.
"Mitch is fine," Crows assistant coach Josh Francou told reporters on Monday.
"I haven't seen David today, but the medical staff will take care of that.
"Eddie had a bit of hamstring tightness.
"He'll be assessed by the medical staff and we'll see what the outcome is with his hamstring and we'll make the call based on that."
The Crows have a lengthy injury list including reigning club champion Matt Crouch (hamstring), older brother Brad (groin), small forward Lachlan Murphy (hamstring) and former North Melbourne midfielder Sam Gibson (hamstring).
Skipper Taylor Walker (foot) had an interrupted pre-season, while star midfielder Rory Sloane is also playing through a foot issue.
"It's a tough, contact sport and I guess the game throws that at clubs at various times throughout the year," Francou said.
"At times, you don't get a lot of injuries, and other times you get hit fairly hard by injuries.
"We're in that space at the moment. If you're looking at positives to come out of it, it gives other guys opportunities.
"We're not looking for excuses as far as personnel being out, absolutely not, we get back to that contest phase and the ability to compete at the level that's required.
"Everyone across the board has to bring that, it's not just the players who aren't playing and relying on them to get us back on track.
"Ultimately, we do have a lot of injuries, but it gives the younger guys looks at senior footy."
Forward Riley Knight and midfielder Curtly Hampton impressed in the SANFL last weekend and will be strong chances to be recalled.
