Taylah Fitzsimons was an Adelaide Football Club Member before she was even born.

The 21-year-old, who lives in Western Australia, says she is so grateful for her Dad, Kevin, for signing her up all those years ago.

“Dad’s been a supporter since the Crows were founded and then he signed me up as a Member since before I was born,” Fitzsimons said.

“I had no choice when it came to supporting the Crows, but it was a good decision and one I’m happy with.

“It is a father/daughter thing (and) it’s great having that bond and that thing for us and looking forward to going to the games together.”

Fitzsimons and her family moved to Melbourne in 2002 before relocating to WA in 2012 and has lived there since.

Although she has not been able to get to a game at Adelaide Oval, Fitzsimons does attend Crows games in Perth.

“I do remember always going to the (coaching) clinics when I was young and they were held in Melbourne,” Fitzsimons said

“In 2019, my Christmas present was to go to Adelaide to go to my first home game, but then Covid hit. One day, the goal is to get to Adelaide for a home game.

“We do go to the games when the Crows come to WA, though.

“Last year, Dad and I went to the Captain’s run in Perth and then we went out for lunch before the game on the Sunday.”

Fitzsimons describes herself as a “loyal and passionate” supporter and loves dissecting each game with her Dad.

“Dad is a big part of the reason why I’ve always supported and stuck with the Crows.

“We do try and take the positives out of the Crows games when we can.”
