Adelaide forwards Josh Rachele and Izak Rankine have received Goal of the Year nominations after their performances in the Crows’ Round 11 win against Brisbane.

In the second quarter of the game against the Lions at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, Rankine took the ball from a forward-half stoppage and snapped from the boundary pocket.

Then, late in the third quarter of the game, Rachele got on the end of a brilliant goal.

Rankine dished the ball off to Rachele, who made a perfectly weighted kick from the boundary line, and the ball spun through the big sticks.

Round 11 voting closes on Thursday at 10am.
