For the second straight season, two Crows have finished top five in the AFL for goalkicking.
Mercurial small forward Eddie Betts kicked 66 goals in the 2016 home and away season to finish level with young Gold Coast star Tom Lynch in equal-third in the Coleman Medal race. Adelaide tall Josh Jenkins also achieved a personal best, bagging 60 goals in the minor round to sit fifth.
The Crows duo has been recognised with selection in the All Australian squad of 40.
Betts and Hawthorn livewire Cyril Rioli, who kicked 44 goals from 19 games, are the only small forwards to occupy a spot in the top 10.
West Coast spearhead Josh Kennedy secured back-to-back Coleman Medals. Kennedy booted 80 goals – six more than his nearest rival, Sydney Swans match winner Lance Franklin (74 goals).
Last year, Betts (58) and captain Taylor Walker (55) finished third and fourth overall, respectively.
Adelaide was the highest-scoring team in the competition across the 22 minor rounds. The Crows scored 2,483 points – 103 more than the second-ranked Greater Western Sydney.
A total of 10 Crows have reached double figures for goals with finals still to come.
Walker has slotted 43, while Tom Lynch has kicked a career-best 36 from 21 games. Young forward Mitch McGovern has kicked 30 in his debut AFL season, while smalls Richard Douglas (19), Charlie Cameron (17), Jarryd Lyons (14), Rory Sloane (12) and Rory Atkins (11) have also kicked 10 or more.
