Adelaide defender Brodie Smith and forward Taylor Walker have been rewarded for their impressive form in the win against St Kilda, topping the leaderboard for the coaches’ votes.
Crows Senior Coach Matthew Nicks and his Saints counterpart Ross Lyon awarded Smith eight votes after he finished with 32 disposals, eight intercepts, 731 metres gained and a goal.
Walker also received eight votes after a five-goal haul, to go with 16 possessions.
Skipper Jordan Dawson (33 touches, five marks and five tackles), and defender Wayne Milera (26 disposals at 85 per cent efficiency and seven marks) were awarded five votes from the coaches.
Forward Luke Pedlar received two votes, after amassing 16 disposals and two goals, while Chayce Jones (21 possessions, one goal) and Izak Rankine (20 touches, two goals), were given one vote apiece.
The Crows’ 52-point triumph over St Kilda propelled them back into the top eight, ahead of a match against the Bulldogs in Ballarat this Saturday.
