Adelaide defender Patrick Parnell has received a Mark of the Year Nomination following his spectacular grab during the Crows’ Round Nine win against St Kilda on Sunday.
Midway through the first quarter, the ball was streaming towards the Saints’ forward half, when Parnell leapt on the back of opponent Jack Higgins and pulled down the mark.
The 21-year-old finished the 52-point triumph with 25 disposals and nine marks.
It is the first time Parnell has been nominated for a Mark of the Year award.

Round Eight voting closes on Thursday, May 18, at 10am.
