Adelaide has confirmed one change ahead of its Round Nine clash with St Kilda on Sunday.

Patrick Parnell has been named to play his second AFL game of 2023 and will replace Nick Murray.

On Saturday, Murray suffered a concussion against Geelong and was subbed out following an incident in the second quarter.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Adelaide Senior Coach Matthew Nicks said Murray was a “big out” but was confident the Club had enough depth and talent to replace him.

“It’s a big out for us, he’s been our rock back there, but we have other guys ready to step up,” Nicks said.

“It’s (replacing Murray) quite a big decision for us, but Patty Parnell is in good nick."

Matt Crouch, Lachlan Gollant, Elliott Himmelberg and Ned McHenry have been named as the emergencies, with one to be confirmed as the substitute one hour before the match.

The Crows play the Saints at Adelaide Oval on Sunday at 12.40pm.
