Final week of Dream Team
After 23 weeks of trades, subs, wins, losses and byes, the final week of Dream team is here.
In the Crows private group, ‘#1 why try harder?’ leads ‘Spuds & Donuts’ by 135 points heading into the final round of 2011. The Crows signed Guernsey is still up for grabs.
‘JettaVendetta’ (Marcus) and ‘BRC’s Galore’ (Ron) are the teams to beat in the overall Dream Team competition.
Sitting on 50,579 and 50,497 respectively, just 82 points separate the two sides as both make their final changes ahead of this week’s major round.
South Australian players, ‘In with a chance’ (Sebastian), ‘Chowders Champs’ (Shreyas) and ‘Kalatmata Power’ (Peter) remain in the hunt for the South Australian title with a mere 79 points separating the top teams.
Sebastian has continued his consistent season, averaging 2,173 points and replacing ‘Michaels’ team on top who dominated earlier rounds.
On the field, Crows player Bernie Vince was amongst the best DT scorers of the week collecting 144 points behind Scott Pendlebury (145) and Tom Rockliff (151). Captain Nathan van Berlo also scored big with 143 points in the Crows last home game this season.
Scott Thompson also looks set to finish 6th in the overall player rankings for 2011. Scott has averaged 107 points per game and 2,267 points in total. Well Done Thommo!
Good luck to all Dream Teamer coaches in the final round!
