Former Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs is the new Chairman of the Adelaide Football Club Past Players and Officials Board, with the decision to appoint the 34-year-old made at the Annual General Meeting this month.
Jacobs, who played 184 games for the Crows, takes the reins from outgoing Chairman Rod Jameson, who after 10 years will be stepping down from the Adelaide Football Club Past Players and Officials Board.
Having also served on the Adelaide Football Club Board for the past eight years, Jamison felt the time was right to relinquish his position, but was set to remain on the Welfare Committee.
Kym Koster has also decided to step down from his position on the Board, however former winger Brad Symes has joined as a Board Director.
Symes' career with the Crows ended in 2012 and he has since founded Adelaide financial firm Stellan Capital.
He is one of five Board Directors, joining two-time AFLW Premiership player Courtney Cramey, Barrie Downs, Mark McGill and Susan Hall.
