Narrow loss for Tigers pair
Season 2008 ended for James Sellar and Ed Curnow at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
The pair narrowly missed out on playing in Sunday’s Reserves Grand Final as Glenelg went down to the Eagles by one point.
Sellar was a solid contributor for the Tigers with three goals including a tight set shot on the final siren to bring the Tigers within one point, while he also competed well in the ruck. Curnow had a steady game collecting 23 possessions on a wing and in the midfield.
Rookie Brodie Martin will line up for Sturt Reserves this weekend against the Eagles while fellow rookie James Moss is a chance of retaining his spot in the Central District side to take on Glenelg.
The Reserves Grand Final will start at 12.00pm with the league final on at 3.10pm.
