Seven Adelaide players have been included in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 Squad of the decade.
The fan-voted award recognises the best 22 players aged under 22 across the past 10 years.
On Monday, the AFL Players’ Association announced the squad, which included Brodie Smith, Izak Rankine, Matt Crouch, Rory Laird, Tom Doedee, Wayne Milera and Daniel Talia.
Talia (2012, 2013, 2014) is Adelaide’s most represented player, having been selected in the final team three times over the past decade, while Reigning Club Champion Rory Laird (2015, 2016) and Izak Rankine (2020, 2022) have been selected twice.
Smith was selected in 2014, while Crouch made the side in 2017, the same year he won the Club’s Best and Fairest.
Milera was selected in 2019, while Doedee was named at centre half-back that same year.
All players previously selected in a 22Under22 final team have been automatically added into the squad of 142 players.
Voting closes on Wednesday, March 1.
