The Adelaide Football Club has partnered with award-winning South Australian gin distiller Prohibition Liquor Co.
The partnership makes Prohibition the official gin of the Adelaide Crows.
To celebrate, the Adelaide-based brand has released two commemorative bottles of its globally-awarded gin.
The limited-edition Adelaide Crows Prohibition Gin pays homage to the first premiership wins for the Club’s AFL and AFLW teams.
The bottles feature the Crows’ colours and logo, with the AFL version featuring a black and white image of the men’s 1997 premiership win, and the women’s version showcasing their 2017 premiership celebrations.
Adelaide Football Club Chief Commercial Officer Dan Johnston said the Club was excited about the opportunities the partnership would bring.
“From humble beginnings Prohibition has grown into an Adelaide institution and we’re thrilled to be partnering with another premium South Australian product,” Johnston said.
“When the Prohibition team came to us with the concept of the Adelaide Crows Prohibition Gin we knew it was something our Members and supporters would love. The team has done a wonderful job creating this product, it’s certainly a unique keepsake and it’s available to purchase just in time for Christmas.
“We are excited that Prohibition will have a presence at our events and we are also looking to collaborate on some unique experiences for our Members and fans.”
Prohibition co-founder Adam Carpenter designed the commemorative bottles and said he was proud to see the product come to life.
“Each bottle is a tribute to that incredible moment for each team where they held the winner’s trophy for their first premierships. The design is reflective of the coming together of two South Australian brands,” Carpenter said.
“It is distinctively Prohibition for the lovers of our products and uniquely Adelaide Crows.
