Adelaide two-time Premiership player Danielle Ponter has been nominated for the Crypto.com Goal of the Year following the Crows Round Nine clash against Geelong at Unley Oval on Friday.

Ponter intercepted a kick by a Geelong opponent in the centre of the oval during the first quarter, streamed down the ground taking four bounces, before running into an open goal and booting the ball through the big sticks.

It is the second nomination for Ponter, who won the Crypto.com Round Three's Goal of the Year.

The 22-year-old finished the two-point win against the Cats with 14 disposals and two goals.
