Adelaide has made three changes for its Round Five clash with GWS on Sunday.
Crows coach Matthew Clarke confirmed on Friday that Jess Waterhouse would debut, following strong form at training.
The 25-year-old is one of three changes to the team, with Brooke Tonon and McKenzie Dowrick coming back in.
Danielle Ponter (quad) will miss for a second week in a row with injury.
“She’s (Ponter) getting close, had a solid rehab session on Thursday morning,” Clarke said.
“Not this week, she won’t come back in… and it’s a five-day turnaround for the Showdown (in Round Six).
“If it was a full seven or eight days she’d be better, but we’ll see.”
Niamh Kelly will also be on the sidelines, after dislocating her shoulder against Collingwood.
“The shoulder came out but it went back in really clean,” Clarke said,
“She had the scans, no major structural damage other than a small tear which happens.
“She’ll go through a period of rehab but there’s no surgery at this point.”
Lisa Whiteley and Amber Ward have been omitted.
The Crows v GWS clash kicks off at Unley Oval on Sunday at 2.40pm.
