Nominations are now open for Adelaide’s next Member Engagement Panel after a successful first year.

The 10-person panel holds regular meetings with Club management and representatives of the Board to provide feedback and insights on behalf of the Membership.

The inaugural Member Engagement Panel, which was formed in June, 2021, was consulted on a range of topics to help shape decision making regarding stadium and match-day experience, mobile membership and ticketing, exclusive digital content, merchandise and the Club’s community programs.

Panellists serve one 12-month term and the inaugural panel held its last meeting before the AFL team’s Round 23 clash with North Melbourne.

Crows Chairman John Olsen has encouraged all interested Members to nominate for the panel which will be finalised in coming months.

“Members are the backbone of any sporting club and we are fortunate that collectively, ours are the most loyal and committed fan base in the competition. This was most evident during the testing times caused by the global pandemic,” Olsen said.

“While we acknowledged the inaugural panel members in the official Chairman’s function prior to our final home game against North Melbourne last month, I would like to take this opportunity to once again formally thank them for their passion, time and energy.

“We are heading down a path of building a world class administration, high performance and community facility, with Thebarton Oval considered the best site to suit our long-term requirements.

“Our Club’s football-first strategy also has a clear focus on seeing our men’s team return to playing finals football as quickly as possible, while sustained AFLW success is another top priority. And it is also great to see our SANFL team challenging strongly in the current finals series.

“The Club is also a source of good in the community and it is worth noting that we are in the process of revamping our outreach offerings, so there will be no shortage of agenda items in the months ahead.”

Nominations for the Member Engagement Panel are open for the next two weeks.
