Adelaide has named a strong side to take on Central District at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
AFL-listed players Jackson Hately, Brett Turner, Luke Pedlar, Billy Frampton and Lachlan Gollant have all been named in the Round 18 team.
Josh Rachele, however, comes out after reaggravating his hip in last week’s win over Woodville-West Torrens, ruling him out of the remainder of the AFL and SANFL seasons.
Crows development-listed players Louis Sharrad, Isaya Mckenzie, Josh Smithson and Hayden Kernahan are also among those selected.
The Crows will be looking to continue their winning form after the victory against the Eagles helped secure them a SANFL finals berth.
Adelaide SANFL Senior Coach Michael Godden said players were looking forward to playing on Adelaide Oval, following the Club’s AFL match against the Kangaroos.
“It’ll be a tough battle against Central,” Godden said.
“(But) we are really pleased to have a ‘home game’ at Adelaide Oval, it keeps our Club connected.
“Playing on the same day means our training program can be the same, playing at the same venue means we can watch the AFL and the AFL can watch us.
“Of course playing at Adelaide Oval is a wonderful privilege.”
Saturday will be a footy festival for the Crows, with the AFLW side playing North Melbourne in a practice match at Norwood Oval at 10am, before the AFL team’s clash with the Kangaroos at Adelaide Oval at 1.40pm.
The SANFL match will then get underway at 5pm.
*AFL emergencies are still to be added to the SANFL team.
