Crows defender Tom Doedee will miss Adelaide's Round 20 clash with Carlton at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
On Thursday morning, Doedee confirmed he would take a week off to address some niggling injury issues.
"I've had some injuries that have just been lingering around," Doedee said.
"There's a few different thing popping up each week that wont seem to go away.
"Because I haven't been able to play at my best and the quality I want to be putting out there, we decided having a week of was the best way to get my body right before a big run home.
"It was a joint decision this week to try and give it a week to let the body heal."
Adelaide's Round 20 team will be announced tonight at 5.50pm ACST.
