Adelaide has made one forced change for Sunday’s clash with the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.

It was first thought the Crows had escaped from Sunday’s Balfours Showdown without any injuries but scans have confirmed a torn muscle behind David Mackay’s knee and he will miss a couple of weeks.

Tony Armstrong returns to the Crows side for the first time since round 15 last year when Adelaide defeated West Coast.

Armstrong played nine games in 2010 in his debut season. The 21-year-old half-back missed the start of this season through a Club suspension and then injury but he has been in strong form with North Adelaide in the SANFL in recent weeks.

Myke Cook and Shaun McKernan are the travelling emergencies.
