Troy Menzel and Chad Wingard have been voted into Adelaide’s fan-selected Fantasy team as the Fantasy Crows prepare to tackle the second-placed Lions.
The South Australian duo were chosen to replace Tom Hawkins and Shaun Higgins in the forward line, helping the team bank approximately $150k towards future trades.
19-year-old Menzel has a break even of just 8 points for the upcoming round and is certain to swell in value after averaging 77 points in his past two games. The young Blue looked dangerous playing against Adelaide last week and appears to have cemented a spot in Carlton’s starting 22.
Wingard adds dual-position flexibility to the team and is generously priced for a player of his Fantasy calibre. Upcoming fixtures against Melbourne and St Kilda should also suit the 20-year-old goalsneak.
The 19th Man has backed Patrick Dangerfield to outperform Gary Ablett when the Crows battle Gold Coast this Sunday, with ‘Danger’ chosen ahead of the ‘Little Master’ as captain for Round 11. It will be the first time this season that Ablett will not lead the Fantasy Crows as skipper with the exception of Gold Coast’s bye back in Round Eight.
