SUMMARY
The Power will be hoping they can draw on the emotion of the Showdown to take down their cross-town rivals. Last weekend's 40-point loss to Melbourne officially ruled the Power out of finals contention. All they have to play for is pride while some players have two games to show they deserve to remain at the club next year. It's been a disappointing campaign for a side that has performed below expectations. Instead, it's the Crows who have premiership aspirations and are charging towards a top-two berth. The equation is simple for Don Pyke's men – keep winning ahead of a deep run into September. The Crows have had big wins over the past three weeks with victories against the bottom three sides in the competition. The Power will leave nothing in the tank for what is essentially their grand final, but it's hard to see them seriously challenging the Crows when the game is up for grabs.
