Adelaide has named an extended 26-man squad for its Round One clash with Fremantle at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

The Club confirmed six names at training on Wednesday - including three debutants.

2021 draftees Josh Rachele and Jake Soligo will don a Crows guernsey for the first team alongside Sydney recruit Jordan Dawson.

Matt Crouch, Mitch Hinge and Wayne Milera, who have all been on the sidelines long-term due to injury, also return.

Crouch will line up in the midfield for the first time since 2020 however 2021 Club Champion Rory Laird was unavailable for selection due to a broken hand.

Up forward, Matthew Nicks has named three talls in Elliott Himmelberg, Darcy Fogarty and Riley Thilthorpe to play alongside each other.

Adelaide’s final 22-man squad will be named on Friday afternoon at 4.30pm ACDT.

First bounce on Sunday is at 3.40pm ACDT.

The Crows will take on Fremantle in the season opener on Sunday, March 20, at 3.40pm, with tickets on sale now via Ticketek
