Adelaide members and supporters are encouraged to attend the Club’s open training session at Adelaide Oval on Friday.
The session will start at approximately 11:15am and last up to one hour. Entry is via the Southern Plaza, located on War Memorial Drive and just a short walk from the new footbridge crossing the River Torrens.
It will be only the third time the Crows have trained on the redeveloped Adelaide Oval and the team’s final look at the venue before Balfours Showdown XXXVI on Saturday afternoon.
If fans want to get to the ground early, they can attend the unveiling of the first of four bronze sculptures in the Southern Plaza. The ceremony is expected to last 30 minutes with members of the public permitted to have their photo taken next to the sculpture at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Crows premiership coach Malcolm Blight is among four South Australian football greats to be honoured with a sculpture at Adelaide Oval. Blight, goalkicking great Ken Farmer and triple Magarey medallists Barrie Robran and Russell Ebert are the four chosen champions, with the identity of the first sculpture to be revealed on Friday.
